Likes and dislikes of audience
We as a speaker should always remember that audience have given golden opportunity to speak among them. So it is your responsibility to understand the interest of the audience. Start your speech with consideration of likes and interests of the audience. You have given time as a speaker, now you must have art of drawing their attention. Let’s discuss what they want:1) Only speech with change in flow of voice can be effective. Say if lines of speech are revolutionary, protesting lines of speech expresses joys or sorrows, it should be sentimental.

Likes of audience
1) Use of simple language and words in speech which can easily be understood.
2) Many thoughts and opinions may confuse audience as far possible there should be use of simple and short sentence. Audience likes to understand a message at a time.
3) Audience like flow of clear thoughts and information so speaker needs to have clear knowledge about speech topic.
4) Speech should be finished within stipulated time.
5) Speaker should be honest by not providing false information.
Dislikes of Audiences1) Unnecessary elaboration of points that is not important and entering to main subject matter after long time.
2) Taking more time than expected.
3) Attempt to explain unnecessary points and many things at once.
4) Unclear sentences, stammering acts etc are not expected. Taking speech to the end after knowing that audience are getting bored.
